These terms supplement applicable Atlassian Marketplace terms and are not intended to conflict with them. Mandatory rights prevail.

1. Provider, scope and agreement

The provider identified in the Imprint operates under the Vireltix trading name. These terms cover Handoff Pulse and future Marketplace apps unless a listing contains more specific vendor terms. Ordering, billing, renewal and licence provisioning are handled by Atlassian, not this website.

These terms supplement the effective Marketplace arrangements among customer, Atlassian and vendor. They do not amend mandatory Atlassian terms. In a conflict, mandatory law, applicable Atlassian terms and a more specific written agreement take priority to the extent legally required.

2. Licence and scope

During a valid Marketplace licence, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the app for internal business purposes in the licensed Atlassian environment. Marketplace licence metrics, user limits, term and the licence information supplied by Atlassian remain controlling.

The right covers ordinary access by authorised users and internal use of documentation. It transfers no source code, trademark or ownership right. Affiliates or additional instances are included only where the licence and Marketplace rules provide for them.

3. Permitted use and restrictions

  • no unlawful or unauthorised use
  • no circumvention of licensing, access or security controls
  • no reverse engineering except where mandatory law permits it
  • no processing of data the customer is not authorised to process
  • no disruptive automated load or security testing without prior approval

4. Customer responsibilities

The customer manages Atlassian accounts and Jira permissions, decides which content may be entered, trains authorised users and maintains its own incident, security, compliance, deletion and retention procedures. Handoff Pulse is a workflow aid, not a substitute for those procedures.

Before production use, the customer verifies that app configuration, permissions, handover templates and escalation rules fit its operating model. It keeps Marketplace contact and billing information current and reports security or functional issues with information required for investigation, without sending passwords or unnecessary personal data.

5. Third-party platform dependency

Functionality, installation and availability also depend on Jira Cloud, Atlassian Forge and the Atlassian Marketplace. Changes, maintenance, permissions, account restrictions or outages in those services may affect the app and are partly outside our control.

The app must not be used as the sole technical or organisational safeguard for safety-critical, medical or otherwise high-risk operations. Customers retain independent escalation, contingency and recovery procedures.

6. Updates, changes and support

We may develop the app, provide bug and security fixes and adapt functionality to platform, legal or security changes. Changes may affect the interface, technical prerequisites or individual workflows. Binding promised characteristics and mandatory customer rights remain unaffected.

Support is provided through the published support page. A support case should identify the app, environment, observed behaviour and safe reproduction steps. Response or restoration times apply only when agreed in writing or expressly included in the controlling Marketplace offer.

7. Customer data, privacy and security

Processing, current Forge architecture, permissions and contact channels are described in the Privacy Policy and Trust Center. Technical statements there apply to the verified release and are updated when architecture changes.

Customers retain rights in submitted content and are responsible for lawfulness, accuracy, access control and required deletion. They must not enter secrets, credentials or data unnecessary or unauthorised for the handover purpose. Data-protection roles depend on the agreement and actual processing.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

All rights in the app, design, documentation and developments remain with the provider or respective licensors. Customers retain rights in their content. Technical interoperability with Atlassian products transfers no right in Atlassian trademarks or products.

Voluntary product feedback may be evaluated to improve the app without disclosing confidential customer data. It does not by itself transfer a customer’s separate invention or copyright rights.

9. Term, suspension and termination

Use rights end when the Marketplace licence expires or terminates, after effective termination, or following a material breach as permitted by law. To the extent lawful and proportionate, access may be temporarily restricted for a serious security threat or unauthorised use, considering reasonable less restrictive measures and an opportunity to remedy.

Data access and storage lifecycle may change after licence expiry or uninstallation under then-current Forge and Marketplace rules. Customers should preserve required business information through their own retention and export processes; an undocumented export feature is not promised.

10. Warranty and liability

Mandatory warranty rights remain unaffected. Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability and expressly assumed guarantees. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable loss typical for the contract. No limitation applies where mandatory law prohibits it.

11. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, to the extent permitted. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. Dresden is the venue for merchants and public-law entities where legally permitted.

12. General terms and contact

If a provision is ineffective, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Assignment or transfer is governed by mandatory law and controlling Marketplace rules. Headings are for readability.

Support: support@vireltix.com. Legal: legal@vireltix.com. Material revisions are published with a new effective date; accrued mandatory rights remain unaffected.
